Brian joins Ringo Starr in birthday bash

An army of guests joined Ringo Starr during the finale of his 70th birthday celebration gig in New York July 8th at Radio City Music Hall. Brian Johnson, Yoko Ono, Zac Starkey, Joe Walsh, Steve Van Zandt, Jeff Lynne, Nils Lofgren, Dave Stewart, Max Weinberg and Mick Jones teamed up with Starr on With a Little Help From My Friends/Give Peace a Chance. Paul McCartney also jammed with Ringo during the encore. Current news items on the net erroneously report that Angus Young was among the guests...

Last trainstop of the Black Ice Tour

Tonight the Black Ice Tour draws to a close in Bilbao,Spain.

We will just have to wait and see what happens after the tour is over.

Reports on a DVD from Argentina, shot last year, is rumoured to hit
the shops some time later this year.
We´ll have that to look forward to.

And the movie "Let There Be Rock" is also said to get an legitimate
release on dvd some time soon too.
That will also be good.

But we´ll all anticipate what will happen to "Beano"?
Will he quit or not? Will there be a AC/DC next year or even next month??

Only time will tell! Let´s all hope for the best.

A tribute to the best band in the world!!

Since this might be the last year Acca Dacca is out touring I might just let one cat out of the bag.

I once were the bassplayer for a hardrock band called "Wang Dang", named after the Ted Nugent lovesong "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang". Hence my onlinename "Stiff Williams". That is Cliff Williams being the bassplayer with Acca Dacca.

We once recorded a few AC/DC songs on demo just for fun, and I´d like you to hear them.

These recordings were made in 1998 And the band had not been together for 11 years. It was kinda a comeback of sorts for us. We made a sold out gig at a local venue and that was that.

But fuck all that!! Playing an AC/DC song allways made me feel a little extra crazy,or a little extra confident! O.K. I´ll admit it, playing an AC/DC song allways made me feel like a king. Like an untouchable!!

I hope you´ll here it in the versions that we made, here for you to hear for the first time ever online!!
